After all of our collective efforts, we managed to get over 1300 signatures and I am the FIRST to qualify in my district race.
It is a relief to have that part of the campaign out of the way but mostly, I am so very appreciative of everyone who believed in our fight enough to knock on doors, attend various events and stand out at polling places, spending hours asking people to help me get on the ballot. You are all truly amazing people and together we will undoubtedly make a difference in District 27 and the great state of Florida.
I have also enjoyed my time with each of you and getting out to talk with my constituents. I have ideas and plans on what should be done but it is not just for me and it is not without you. Hearing your views, opinions, and suggestions on how we can help the people in our community more effectively is the best way for us to grow in these changing times.
I, myself, am a small business owner and have served the community in healthcare insurance helping many individuals and businesses. We are all eager to get back to some kind of normalcy, perhaps that means getting back to work, socializing and/or getting our kids back to previous routines and we have all had to make changes in our daily lives for the good of others as well as ourselves. I know how hard it is going to be for all to get back on our feet, but together we will achieve success. Thank you for your continued support.
